The Cause
The goal for the ride is to raise up to $100,000 for Parkinson’s Disease Research. The primary beneficiary is The Paul Ruby Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit charity located in Geneva, Illinois. It is the aim of the organizers to enable 100% of all ride fees go directly to the foundation. All attempts will made to cover the operating expenses for the event through private and corporate sponsors. The registration will be limited to a maximum of 500 participants. To meet the fund-raising goal a minimum donation of $200 is required from each rider, this includes the registration fee of $50.00. This fee can comprise of either a personal donation, or donations from those sponsoring the rider. All moneys donated qualify as a tax deductible gift to a registered non-for-profit charity.
